Three Lint Warnings That Found Real Bugs in My Tests

I had the same reaction to linters that everyone has: mostly style nits, mostly ignorable. Then I turned golangci-lint into a hard CI gate on a branch (F-002, the wake scheduler work), and the first pass caught three things that were not style. One was a test that had never tested anything. One was a test fixture that only passed on my machine. One was dead code I’d written myself and never used.
